Originally known as The Gem, the bar changed its name to One World Theatre when Scott Isenhower took over ownership in the 1950s. The owner used the club he always went to when he studied for his undergraduate degree at at the University of South Carolina as the inspiration for the layout of the club he owns now. One World Theatre has grown into the most chill neighborhood bar in the city for shows.
